Fly Me to the Moon
A downloadable game for Windows
Fly Me to the Moon is a side-scrolling tower defense game where you have to defend your mining outpost from an onslaught of enemies! Build Towers and Attachments to increases your defenses and hold back the hoard.
How to Play:
Player 1 builds towers and attachments to defend the mining outpost. Attachments that increase damage or attack speed only do so for towers in their column.
Player 2 has an attack that can be activated by pressing Enter. Player 2 can also have towers and attachments built on top of them which they can fly around.
Towers need to be powered with Moonlight. Any tower within range of Player 1 (indicated by the cyan circle) will draw energy from Player 1's battery when needed. To recharge their energy, either player just needs to go within range of the Moon.
There are several different enemies, but 2 main types: Normal and Phantom. Normal enemies can be hit by any projectile. Phantom enemies either need special towers to be hit, or the towers need a special attachment to be able to hit them. Phantom enemies are indicated by white particles bubbling off of an enemy.

Fly Me to the Moon was made in 48 hours for a game jam at WPI by Alexander Hebert (coding / sound) and Henry Stadolnik (art). The Game Jam theme was Moonlight, which we interpretted as both literal moonlight, and the definition of the word that meant "to have multiple jobs".
